PROJECT 2 : What a RELIEF!

RELIEF is a scupltural technique where the sculpted elements remain attached to a solid background of the same material, the term relief is from the Latin verb relevo, to raise. To create a sculpture in relief is to give the impression that the sculpted material has been raised above the background plane.
3 different type of model can choose:
1. PERSPECTIVE
2. SECTION
3. TUNNEL BOOK
I CHOOSE SECTION MODEL
I chose this part be my section model.
because i felt the staircase is more interesting then others part. This project is continued on project 3
(final project) .

REFLECTION
In this project, we need to choose either Perspective, Section or Tunnel Book. But at the first, i would like to choose Perspective or Tunnel Book , but i felt this two is very hard to me as we need to know the angle of the perspective and the depth of Tunnel Book .
That is why i choose section to be my model.
When i made the section model, i was worried about the death because my model cannot fix in 5cm, so some part i made it flat.
I am quite happy with the final outcome , at the first i decided dont put the frame, but after i put the frame ,it become "highclass" haha, and the frame have the curve.
the section model is scale 1:50 (A3 Size)
materials: balsa wood, modelling model , perspex, pvc,mdf board, led light and wood stick.
