PROJECT 02 = FORGOTTEN CULTURE [Individual 30%]
Task: Laydown your understanding of what ‘culture’ defines you. From there, you need to select your desired aspect from the definition and allow your creativity and artistic notion to flare out from that particular cultural elements. Solidify it and make a physical tangible statement. Students are required to propose and produce functional/interactive conceptual art ‘device’ that will be both an art piece that is conceptual + narratives that itself in artistic manner. Your approach of subject matter shall derive either from dying culture from the site visit in Penang or other states in Malaysia. Historical precedents are key to ensure a successful creation of the conceptual model. Additionally, students are required to infuse keywords as physical process in their conceptual art model, into a tangible reality.

-This is a Vietnam's Guzheng .
-made of bamboo ,it has 13 strings.
Did a lots of research for this Guzheng. As the time goes, it become less popular and
and forgotten culture. Nobody will have interest in playing guzheng or enjoy the chinese instruments performance.
I love this Chinese Instrument so i want thismust be inherited to younger generation.

Yeah！ i done the project 2 and it totally used 4 weeks to finish this project.
From this project, i had learned a lots of information of the Guzheng. The history of the Guzheng was very interesting and amazing design.
We chose 3 -5 keywords to make a model, from the keywords to create design ideas .
